Chains are required to enter Ben Lomond National park from above the lower car park to all vehicles 2wd and 4wd. Fines apply if you do not carry chains. Dont get caught without them as fines can be above $390.

Lifts at Ben Lomond are for the use of skiers or board riders only, no toboggans or foot traffic. Equipment must be collected from Ben Lomond Alpine Resort BASE at the bottom of Ben Lomond Road prior to ascending the mountain. Novice lift passes provide access to one lift only (usually Bass poma and or Summit T Bar to tower 2 only.)
